Critiques

Oct 27: They liked the edits I made, and how I kept some warm and some cool, and my photos with grass in the foreground as a border almost. They also said I used composition well in the photo where I used the path as a leading line towards the silo. My group also liked how I didn’t make my subject in the center of every photo, and how I also used foreground trees and bushes to keep the photos interesting. I tried to keep my exposure and highlights more in check this time, and I think I did pretty well, with a few exceptions, but it was definitely harder to get the brightness right with the filter on. Some of the grass or trees in my photos are too bright to save, so I’ve already decided on a few I don’t want to use, or that I’d crop

Oct 20: Next time we shoot I’d like to improve my lighting and exposure, I struggled finding the right iso to make sure the trees weren’t too dark but also avoiding an underexposed sky. I want to try and get out to shoot some other locations where it’s easier to shoot different locations and angles for each shot.
